While we’re on the subject, here’s some more art that I love … you can get lost in the color! I especially love these two paintings because they feature roads. And not only roads but — pink roads!   I can’t wait to hit the road again with N., whatever color it is.  x LV David Hockney, Late Spring Tunnel (2006) David Hockney, The Big Hawthorne (2008)

Shoes With Tail lights? Classic Cars Driving...
(images from if it’s hip, it’s here) Shoes with tail lights?  Well alright !  Classic cars are in style all over again, folks.  Prada’s Spring Summer 2012 line includes shoes with tail lights and tail fins, and purses with 1950’s cars on them!  I love to be in style.  x LV “In Prada’s Spring-Summer 2012 Collection, Shoes With Tailfins”

Proof That There's Fun After 40 MPG →
Excuse me, but I thought I was living proof of that.  Fun after 40 MPG indeed! Fun is my middle name.  (Green is my middle name, actually.  Yes, those Greens.)  From the article:  “Volkswagen had ‘fahrvergnugen”; Mazda’s word for driving fun is ‘toitsukan’ a feeling of oneness between car and driver.”  Yup.
